SmartDrive AI FAQ
Answers to common questions about reports, the Unfallbuch, vehicle uploads, and Nutzungsausfall calculations.
Once an accident report has been transferred to the Accident Book, it becomes read-only. This preserves the integrity of the management record. To make changes, edit the corresponding Accident Book entry instead.
The "Status" column in the Vehicles tab shows whether a vehicle is active ("In Service", green) or retired ("Retired", red). This status is controlled by the CSV upload: vehicles no longer present in the CSV after an upload are automatically marked as retired.
A side-by-side comparison opens where you choose which fields to keep from each report. The result is a single combined report. The duplicate is permanently removed.
Loss-of-use is calculated as: downtime days × daily rate. The daily rate is set per vehicle in Master Data > Vehicles. The total is auto-calculated in the claim.
The CSV must use semicolons (;) as separators. It must include at least "No." or "License Plate" as a column. Dates should be in DD.MM.YYYY format. Use "Download CSV template" in the upload dialog to get a pre-formatted template with a sample row.
Make sure you have an internet connection. You need it for your very first login. If you've logged in before and see an "Offline" message, connect to Wi-Fi and try again. If your credentials don't work, contact your IT department.
