A list shaped by the community
What makes this recognition mean the most is how it was decided. For the first time, the 2026 list was shaped by the geospatial community, with more than 125 professionals from around the world taking part in the evaluation.
A list chosen by the people actually doing the work is the one we would have hoped to be on. To be included in our first year, among the companies advancing this field, is genuinely humbling.
What we do
Mapular builds location intelligence software, custom geospatial systems, and applied AI for teams whose decisions depend on where. That work shows up across retail, real estate, infrastructure, and the public sector, wherever location drives the decision.
From a single storefront finding its next location to organisations mapping demand across a whole country, our job is to make location something teams can act on, not just look at.
Being chosen by the people who actually work in geospatial means more to us than any ranking could. It is a real motivation for what we build next.
